Gothic

Gothic is a hybrid real-time 3D action RPG in which the player is forced to survive in a prison world divided into competing factions. As the player is mercilessly thrust into the prison world, he must choose to be one of four character classes and develop in that faction, moving up through the hierarchy and fighting new battles. The main character must evolve and develop, battling ever changing enemy factions and attempting to move up through the callous hierarchy. In the beginning, the character is merely a newcomer - an outsider - and must fulfill menial, insignificant tasks in order to make allies and survive. As time passes and the character accomplishes various tasks, he achieves a higher reputation among the others. As his reputation improves, other members will ask him to perform increasingly important tasks. Eventually, he is an influential, powerful member of the penal colony.

Pirates Of The Caribbean: At World's End (PC)

The first half of the game follows the events of Dead Man's Chest, specifically Captain Jack Sparrow's attempt to recover the heart of Davy Jones to avoid becoming a member of his crew, and it culminates with Jack's encounter with the Kraken. The second portion of the game sees Sparrow and his not-so-merry band of misfits joining together to take on Lord Beckett and retrieve the heart of Davy Jones once and for all. Even if you've seen the second film, the story is quite difficult to follow since it's told by way of a mishmash of well produced, yet disjointed, cutscenes. You'll recognize several scenarios and locations from the movies, but there are many things you'll do that aren't in the movies.

Tips/ tools of the trades

Here's a few things to make your life easier with these downloads.

D-Tools- Works as a sort of virtual CD drive. Just be careful NOT to add the toolbar when installing. You can find it here.

Winace- Useful for unzipping the files after you've downloaded them. Find it here.

SMAC- A MAC address spoofing program, can be used to change an IP address. Useful for those that want to use download sites like Rapidshare, but don't wish to wait an hour or so between download nor pay for a premium account. Here's how it works. Run the program, select random, then update MAC, when the message "adapter restart complete" is displayed, unplug/restart your modem and after a minute or 2 voila! A new IP address! Well most of the time anyways. There have been a few instances of getting the same IP, but overall the success was really good. Note if you have a static IP, it obviously won't help. Download it here.

Pirates of the Caribbean- At Worlds End

After Elizabeth (Keira Knightly), Will (Orlando Bloom), and Captain Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush) rescue Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) from the clutches of the Kraken, they must face their foes, Davey Jones (Bill Nighy) and Lord Cutler Beckett (Tom Hollander). Beckett, now with control of Jones’ heart, forms a dark alliance with him in order to rule the seas and wipe out the last of the Pirates. Now, Jack, Barbossa, Will, Elizabeth, Tia Delma, and crew must call the Pirate Lords from the four corners of the globe, including the infamous Sao Feng (Chow-Yun Fat), to a gathering that will make their final stand against Beckett, Jones, Norrington, the Flying Dutchman, and the entire East India Trading Company.
